Who else remembers our first launched statement piece of jewelry?

The edgy Feather Earrings were produced in 2014 and quickly became one of our best selling models. The feather-inspired cuff earrings in the bold colour combination orange and turquoise were something totally new and different in comparison to my previous designs.

The inspiration for this “wild card” came from one of my morning walks in Stockholm where I happened to run over a Vogue Magazine with a cover girl dressed in the same eye-catching colour combination. Little did I know that this design would later on be my very first press clip in the famous Swedish magazine “Damernas Vrld” worn by Caroline Winberg on their 10 years anniversery cover.

I will never forget when I ran into a small local grocery store at Nytorget, where I lived at the time, and opened the newspaper to read the words “the jewelry designer Caroline Svedbom”. My eyes filled with tears from both joy and pride, and it is safe to say that moment was a real milestone in my career. As a result of that press clip, the earrings became highly sought after by various media personalities and stylists. Therefore, it feels extra fun that our Feather Earrings are making a comeback on our anniversary year!
